Lulu-Afrika, in partnership with the Catholic Diocese of Musoma, held an FGM/C awareness event at Mwema Secondary ScaLulu-Afrika, in collaboration with the Catholic Diocese of Musoma, conducted its second community outreach at Korotambe Secondary School to raise awareness about Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting (FGM/C). The event brought together key stakeholders, including religious leaders, police officers, social workers, elders, parents, teachers and students.hool in Susuni Ward, Tarime. Key attendees included Fr. Cleophus Sabure, Fr. Athanas Zengo, Deputy Inspector General Claud Mtweve, Social Welfare Officer Siwema Atieno, and village elder Nyandange Magaigwa, alongside parents, youth, and community members. The event provided a safe space for dialogue, testimonies, and expert input, reinforcing a collective commitment to ending FGM/C and protecting girls’ rights.
