Beryl's career spans leadership roles with national and international organizations, where she led communications for campaigns and advocacy on human rights, child protection and climate change among others. Her work has shaped narratives on issues ranging from freedom of expression and pro-democracy movements in East and Central Africa to refugee rights, the death penalty, and forced conscription. Her approach blends executive oversight with evidence-based and policy-driven communications, drawing on experience in emergency relief and development programs. Beryl also wears the hat of the Founder of Sunnyside Communications where she advances thought leadership on governance, rights, and global policy. She holds advanced degrees in Diplomacy & International Law and Communication Studies.
